March CSIPC Networking Event (Risk, Resilience and Recovery)

March 26 @ 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm

Free

The CSIPC is a Public and Private Sector partnership aimed at increasing the resilience of businesses in the Tees Valley and surrounding areas to common cyber-attacks, helping to reduce the likelihood of business becoming victims of these crimes. The cluster, for the Tees Valley and wider region, has been formed to support its members by communicating national and international cyber security and information protection initiatives.

We provide a networking platform to share ideas and best security practice within the region, and encourage collaboration and the identification of partnership opportunities, to enable SME’s in the region to find new ways to grow and be secure in this ever evolving digital age. Membership to the cluster is free of charge and we hold monthly networking and knowledge sharing events which are free to attend.

Our forthcoming event will be hosted by Newcastle College with the event sponsor being Towergate Insurance.

Phil O’Neil

Phil O’Neil, I am the He Curriculum Leader for Digital Technologies at Newcastle College. I have worked for the College for 6 years my main remit is to line manage staff to produce an up to date curriculum so that students have both the technical skills and soft skills that make them Work Ready when they finish a Degree course. I have made it my mission to engage with employers so that the students receive a more enriched experience; this gives students additional motivation during a course, which adds to the likelihood of them finding employment in their chosen field.
